TYPOGRAPHY

This project I set to create a typeface, one that not only is more sustainable but that starts a conversation on unheard topics that concern climate change.

The idea is that it begins with a conversation on sustainability, then into things that tend to go unnoticed, mainly data centres. I also wanted to include a ‘solution’ or ‘alternative’, including this would fit in within my work as I have been making bold statements and explorations within the area while not offering any solutions. Creating an alternative typeface was my way of trying to back up and offer an input.

The final outcome, conver was intended to not only visually demonstrate the typeface but to explain and show how it is a sustainable option as well as showing it's effectiveness at starting up that conversation on climate issues, data centres, etc, that go unnoticed and why.
